In Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, enjoy a hike to discover the mills, small villages and streams of its countryside. There are plenty of viewpoints over the town and its collegiate church, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO as part of the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela.
After your hike, head for the village of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat to discover a gourmet speciality: marzipan! Made from almonds, egg white and sugar, this soft cookie was given to pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. You can sample it in many of the town’s patisseries.
Circuit de César and gourmet stopover

The circuit de César à Meuzac (Caesar to Meuzac), starting from Lac de la Roche, offers you the chance to explore the surrounding Limousin countryside and small hamlets.

Before your hike, don’t forget to stop off at Au Délice Gourmand, to discover the town’s sweet specialty, the Dorat macaroon. Crunchy and melt-in-your-mouth, it’s a well-deserved snack.
