Meat lovers, welcome to Limousin cow country! 🥩 Here you can enjoy Limousin meat, of course, but also cul-noir pork, and a host of sweet specialties: marzipan from Saint-Leonard de Noblet, macaroon from Le Dorat, chestnut fondant, clafoutis, “flognarde”, madeleine, and many other specialties that are the pride of Haute-Vienne. 🍏🍒

12,800 lakes and bodies of water 💦 Yes, you’re in Haute-Vienne! If we say Vassivière, do you know where this lake is located? 🤔 Its 1,000-hectare expanse of water is shared between Haute-Vienne and Creuse. Far from the ocean of our neighbors, here in Limousin we’re freshwater fish! Take a leisurely swim in one of our two lakes, which have been awarded the Pavillon Bleu ecolabel!
