En Piste ! David Widhopff (1867-1933) et les peintures du Cirque-théâtre de Limoges

The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Limoges celebrates the centenary of the set created in 1924 for the Cirque municipal, replaced in 1958 by the Opéra-théâtre. The exhibition features some 70 works (paintings, sculptures, archives) and explores the art of poster artist and caricaturist David Ossipovitch Widhopff. The event pays tribute to the artistic effervescence of the 1920s-1930s in Limoges, highlighting a poetic and burlesque setting dedicated to the world of entertainment.
