Description
Day trip (return) from Limoges-Bénédictins SNCF station to Eymoutiers. The historic tourist train follows the Limoges-Ussel mountain railroad from the Paris-Toulouse line to Châteauneuf-Bujaleuf in the Haute Vallée de la Vienne. The rails run alongside the river, whose many dams reveal the economic activity of the late 19th century. After a short technical stop, you'll discover the Gorges de la Vienne, where bridges and tunnels follow one another.
