The Pont de Noblat district comes alive every year at the beginning of July to celebrate “lo St Marsaut”, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages. 🗡️
Three days of festivities in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, where you can watch the coronation of the king and queen, and meet the knights preparing for the equestrian joust of the “race for the ring”. 🤴🏻👸🏼

⚔️ Shows, encampments, battles, music and medieval crafts await you at the Médiévales de Mortemart! 🏰
In the heart of Mortemart, the only village in Haute-Vienne to be awarded the “Most Beautiful Villages in France” label, enjoy a day and a half of festivities immersed in the world of the Middle Ages.
Attend live and equestrian shows, watch combat demonstrations, enjoy musical and theatrical entertainment, and meet over 50 food and craft exhibitors. Professional companies and enthusiasts from near and far will take you on a journey through the centuries. 👑
The event is free and open to all.
🍖 On Saturday 25 July from 8pm, take part in the medieval banquet organised in the courtyard of the Château des Ducs. There is a charge for the meal and booking by telephone is compulsory.
The Château de Brie in Champagnac-la-Rivière is decked out in all its finery for its 4th medieval festival! 🏰
A host of events await you: a Viking camp, a village of 90 costumed craftsmen, sword-fighting shows, archery and children’s workshops… 🏹
The day will end with a concert of Irish and Celtic music by the group Les Compères. 🎶

📅 O n 15 and 16 August 2026, the Château de Châlus-Chabrol opens its doors for the first edition of its medieval festival. For an entire weekend, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages at the heart of this emblematic fortress in the Haute-Vienne region.
⚔️ On the programme: historical encampments, combat demonstrations, craftsmen, 🍖 a medieval tavern, entertainment for all the family and meetings with re-enactment enthusiasts. Between the castle ramparts, young and old can discover daily life in the time of the knights and enjoy an immersion in history.
