Beaumont-du-LacSet on the island of Vassivière, in the heart of the lake of the same name, the Centre international d’art et du paysage (CIAP) is a unique place where contemporary art dialogues with nature. 🍃
Designed by architects Aldo Rossi and Xavier Fabre and inaugurated in 1991, this astonishing building houses temporary exhibitions throughout the year and opens onto a vast Sculpture Wood where almost sixty works line the forests, meadows and banks.
Climbing up the steps of the lighthouse tower 🗼 gives visitors an exceptional panoramic view of Lake Vassivière and the landscapes of the Millevaches plateau 🌲.
