The Haute-Vienne offers plenty of lakes and ponds where you can cool off and have fun. From Lake Vassivière to the Espace Hermeline lake and Lake Saint-Pardoux, you’ll find sandy beaches, children’s play areas and water sports. Lifeguards are on duty mainly in July and August. If you’re not familiar with the Blue Flag, it’s a prestigious environmental and tourism award, and we’re lucky enough to have two lakes in Haute-Vienne that have been awarded this status.
