Between Saint Leonard de Noblat, with its picturesque narrow streets, and Lake Vassivière, with its remarkable expanse of water, beaches and water sports, Cheissoux is a small commune on the Creuse border. Set in rolling countryside alternating between meadows and forests, the gîte overlooks the small hamlet of Villetelle, next to a farm that breeds fine Limousin cows. The small road that gives access to the gîte doesn't go any further. A footpath leads to the Cheissoux chapel, which opens onto the old village square. Another leads to Bujaleuf, 3 km away, where you'll find essential shops, a lake and a beach. Another gîte for 4 people is 30 m down the road.
