Founded in 1797, Royal Limoges is the city?s oldest factory still in operation. An indissociable union of two centuries of porcelain tradition, the company has remained one of the few independent family businesses. In addition to traditional production at the Casseaux factory, an ultra-modern plant in Le Dorat, near Limoges, has enabled the company to innovate, while retaining its ancestral techniques and know-how.
Establishments such as the Crillon, the George V and the Ritz have placed their trust in the reputation of the factory, which is also open to visitors for tours of the workshop. Manufacture labeled Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant.
