Rebuilt in the neo-Romanesque style in 1892, the church in Gorre is home to a mid-12th-century reliquary cross from the treasury of the Abbey of Grandmont, a piece of goldsmith's work with a double crosspiece, covered with filigree and enriched with gems. Two intaglios (engraved stones) were made in the Near East at an earlier date and incorporated into the ornamentation of the cross by the Limousin master goldsmith. Since 1907, the cross has been listed as a Monument Historique. A real treasure in West Limousin!
