A poignant page from our working-class history on stage. Compagnie Asphodèle takes you back in time with a play by Joël Nivard, directed by Sylvie Nivard. Immerse yourself in the "events" that marked Limoges 120 years ago. From Saturday April 15 to Monday April 17, 1905, the city went up in flames. The play pays tribute to the often silent but fiercely rebellious working-class memory of Limoges. Through the eyes of common folk - washerwomen, schoolteachers or middle-class citizens - the work reminds us that behind the finesse and transparency of porcelain lie the hands, sweat and sometimes blood of those who shaped it.
