Discovering Georges Guingouin's maquis: Dedicated to Colonel Georges Guingouin's 1st FTP Limousin March Brigade, the museum conveys the memory of the sacrifices and struggles of the men and women of G. Guingouin's maquis. Through the various exhibition rooms, discover the birth and actions of the maquis, the commitment of these men and women, the tragedies of Tulle and Oradour sur Glane, the internment camps of Haute-Vienne and the Nazi concentration and extermination camps. Discover the re-enactment of the surrender of the Germans in Limoges, and watch the documentary "Première Brigade" (First Brigade), featuring the testimonies of maquis companions.
