Frac-Artothèque joins forces with Editions Dernier Télégramme to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Fabrice Caravaca, director of this publishing house dedicated to contemporary writing, has built up a singular visual arts collection alongside his catalog of authors.
Most of the poets and writers published by Dernier Télégramme have an artistic practice more or less closely linked to their writing: photography, performance, drawing, painting. Many of them question what makes poetry through these different media.
This collection offers an overview of the artists published, as well as a portrait of the publishing house. It bears witness to the ties that the Limoges-based company has built up with its authors and artists. It also highlights practices that are still little known to the general public, such as postal art and visual poetry.
