Screening of "Atlas oculto" followed by a discussion with director Anne-Laure Boyer. Organized by the Portes de Vassivière library as part of Doc Month. FREE Running time 1h10 SYNOPSIS: Throughout the twentieth century, over a hundred Spanish villages were "submerged" in the reservoirs of hydraulic dams. It is said that "the last Masses were said by entering the church by boat". In times of drought, the dams dry up and the ruins become visible again. The ancient inhabitants then return to walk the earth of these fossilized landscapes, lunar and timeless. ATLAS OCULTO is a creative project that explores the imagination of these sunken worlds, and in so doing, our relationship with time, oblivion and loss, and the process of constructing collective memory.
