From 19 to 22 August 2025, the riders will set off through the magnificent landscapes of Limousin and the surrounding area, passing through typical villages and hilly roads 👀.

A sporting adventure

The Tour du Limousin, established in 1968, is a stage cycle race held in the Limousin, now extended to the Périgord and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions. The competition aims to showcase the region’s landscapes and cultural heritage while providing a high-level platform for professional cyclists.

The tour typically comprises 4 varied stages, attracting international teams and promoting the discovery of local riches through a popular and festive sporting event 🎉.

Since 2021, the event has been called the Tour du Limousin – Périgord – Nouvelle-Aquitaine to reflect the inclusion of a stage in the Dordogne on its itinerary.

About the programme

This annual cycle race, which takes place over four days in August, traverses the varied landscapes of the Limousin 🤩.

The 2025 edition crosses the Haute-Vienne and includes stages in Panazol, Saint-Hilaire-Bonneval and Limoges.

This tour attracts 19 professional teams and offers intense competition, while showcasing local heritage and culture with a variety of entertainment for spectators.

The 4 stages of the Tour du Limousin

Stage 1 – Tuesday 19 August
Start in Panazol and finish in La Courtine.

Stage 2 – Wednesday 20 August
Course in the Dordogne from Thiviers to Grèzes Les Côteaux Périgourdins.

Stage 3 – Thursday 21 August
Stage in Corrèze linking Saint Jal to Masseret.

Stage 4 – Friday 22 August
Closing the tour between Saint-Hilaire-Bonneval and Limoges.
