The Tour du Lac de Vassivière is a 23.4 km road race in an exceptional natural setting.

The race takes place as close as possible to the lake, on a hilly course, accompanied by music.

The race is the highlight for participants, who set themselves a real challenge!

Other events enable a wide public to take part in this great sporting weekend: discovery Nordic walking and the 9.5 km hike, as well as the 800 or 1600 m children’s races.

The program

Bibs can be collected at Auphelle from 10am on Saturday June 22 and from 7am to 9am on Sunday June 23.

Saturday June 22 :

1pm: Nordic walking > 26 km on the riverside trail
2.30pm: Nordic discovery walk and hike > 9.5 km
5pm: nature race > 9.5 km

Sunday June 23 :

9am: Le Tour du lac > 23.4 km
9:30 am: children’s races > 800 and 1600 m
Pasta party on Saturday evening, Limousin grills on Sunday lunchtime, refreshment bar, food-truck
Fitness warm-up on the line, 15mn before the start.

Why is the Tour du Lac de Vassivière a must?

The event takes place on an exceptional site, in the heart of the Limousin: the 1000-hectare Lac de Vassivière.
The Tour du Lac de Vassivière is a French classic (27th edition).
The Nordic Walking event is part of the “National Nordic Tour” calendar and runs along the lake’s shoreline path, bringing you face-to-face with the best French and regional walkers.
The nature race is a trail that has picked up pace over the years, and where the times are jostling for position.
