1001 notes Festival

1001 Notes offers a new approach to classical music. Combined with other styles such as country, electro or metal, it proves to be a unifying force for different audiences, freeing itself from the clichés from which it often suffers. From July 16 to 20, surprise your ears with an innovative marriage of styles!

A must for classical music fans, but not only!

From July 16 to 20, 2024, the 1001 Notes Festival once again offers five days of festivities, musical discoveries and curiosities of all kinds. This year, different worlds meet on the main stage of the Patinoire Olympique de Limoges, but also outside.

Anastasia Kobekina’s baroque cello meets the gypsy violins of Tram des Balkans, Degiheugi’s symphonic electro, Esther Abrami’s classical pop covers, Alcest’s dark metal, Thibault Cauvin’s travelling guitar or Nicolas Horvath’s romantic piano… all against a backdrop of classical music, the very essence of 1001 Notes.

The program

In addition to the five-day festival, 1001 notes is just as many events throughout the year. Concerts, animations, instrumental workshops and exhibitions take place all over Limoges.

Find the musical genre that suits you best for one evening, or book the whole festival and let yourself be surprised by the combination of musical styles.
