We like to say it’s the most beautiful train station in France. But do we really know its history? 🤔 Indeed, when we talk about Limoges, it’s impossible not to mention the majestic Gare des Bénédictins, a true architectural gem. Imposing and elegant, this station is much more than just a place of transit: it’s a work of art in its own right. During the February school vacations, our guided tour will take you on a journey to discover the secrets of this emblematic building, erected on the grounds of a former Benedictine convent. You’ll marvel at its gigantic 31-metre-high dome, topped by a 61-metre-high campanile, whose copper-capped silhouette has watched over Limoges for almost a century.
