A fine balance between town and country, this walking tour takes in the historic centre of Saint-Léonard de Noblat as well as the tranquil neighbourhood of the old stone bridge via the meadows beneath the railway viaduct. 🥾
2. Entre Vienne et Tard
à Saint-Léonard de NoblatStarting from the medieval market town of Saint-Léonard de Noblat, embark on a rejuvenating 10km walk through the campagne du Limousin. 🌿
And you’ll discover all the charms of the Vienne and Tard valley, skirting picturesque hamlets, walking alongside rivers, admiring mills… including the Moulin du Got, which is still in operation and not to be missed! 😍


3. Circuit of the Prieuré de l'Artige
à Saint-Léonard de NoblatLocated just outside Saint-Léonard de Noblat towards the splendid Lac de Vassivière, this walk offers beautiful panoramas over the Limousin countryside. 💚
Between pastures and bocage, you’ll discover charming viewpoints and peaceful hamlets as well as old tan mills at the confluence of the Maulde and Vienne rivers. 💦
4. From Brignac to Moulin du Got
in RoyèresOne of our favourite walks to do in summer or with young children. This easy hike is a 4km round trip along the banks of Vienne between Saint-Léonard de Noblat and Royères. It’s an ideal spot when the mercury climbs! 💦
Also to be discovered on site are a geocaching circuit Terra Aventura, the Moulin du Got and a picnic area for those who are peckish! 😉


5. Landes pond path
in Saint-PaulLet’s wander into the woods, while the wolf isn’t there! Because in these woods, it’s the black woodpecker that’s taken up residence! 🐦⬛
Maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of him (or hear him!) on this walk through a small forest of beech, oak and fir trees, small ponds and typical hamlets of the Limousin… 🌳
6. The speaker loop
in Saint-Martin-TerressusHead for the Vallée du Taurion! Listed as a Natura 2000 site, this peaceful valley is a natural area of interest for flora and fauna and well worth a visit. On this hike in the Limousin, you’ll enjoy the cool undergrowth and follow the course of the Taurion and its tributary, the Parleur. 💦
Close your eyes and listen to the whisper of the river. Perhaps it will whisper to you the location of the best cèpes and hazelnut spots! 🤤


7. The 3 puys circuit
in ChampnéteryAt the gateway to the Limousin mountains, the village of Champnétery offers a family-friendly route of 7.5km without difficulty. 💚
See along the way, small villages with preserved old buildings, views of the foothills of the Limousin mountains, giant sequoias… 🍃
8. The Forest of Epagne
in Sauviat-sur-VigeClassed Natura 2000, the Forêt d’Epagne in Sauviat-sur-Vige will surprise you with its special biotope linked to the presence of gabbro rock. 👀
The interpretation trail will take you on a 4km walk through these magical woods with astonishing rocks full of moss. You’ll walk alongside the Vige River, which will whisper the secrets of its discrete inhabitants: otters, salamanders, badgers…
