Set off on a 10 km hike through the surrounding countryside of this medieval town, listed as one of France’ s “Most Beautiful Detours” and the only “Remarkable Heritage Site” in the Limousin. You’ll discover all the charms of the Vienne and Tard valleys.
4. Hiking in Eymoutiers
Petite Cité de CaractèreWe descend further south from Limousin, into the Millevaches Regional Natural Park. In Eymoutiers, Haute-Vienne‘s “Petite Cité de Caractère”, you’ll set off on an 8.3 km hike that takes you to the historic heart of the town and to see views of the countryside, mills, forests… Don’t forget to make a detour to visit its collegiate church!


5. Hiking in Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche
