Just 15 km fromEymoutiers, discover Bujaleuf, a charming commune with the Station Verte and Station Pêche labels. This little corner of greenery, nestled in the unspoilt countryside of the Haute-Vienne, is a haven of peace for nature lovers🌲

The walk takes you along the shores of Lac Sainte-Hélène, in the heart of a refreshingly wooded environment. The trail meanders between forest and water, offering magnificent views of the Maulde valley, emblematic of the Parc Naturel Régional de Millevaches en Limousin.

The Rochers de Négremont provide a surprising backdrop for a short hike in the heart of an unspoilt forest massif. This protected site invites you to discover the area aroundEymoutiers from another, very wild angle! 🌿

Here, the River Vienne has sculpted blocks of granite into astonishing shapes, softened by time and the elements. You’ll find yourself wandering between oaks, beeches and birches, in a cool, shady atmosphere that’s ideal for both midsummer and autumn.

3. The Sainte Geneviève loop

If you enjoyed discovering Eymoutiers, the Sainte-Geneviève loop invites you to an equally pleasant immersion on a 10.5km nature trail 🌳

Along the way, don’t miss the Sainte-Geneviève fountain, source of a captivating local legend, and the Arbre aux Poules, an oak tree remarkable for both its size and its history, located at a crossroads culminating at 547 meters. The route also offers superb views, notably of Mont Larron, the commune’s highest point at 624 metres, with panoramic views over the regional nature park of the Plateau des Millevaches.
