During your exciting Terra Aventura adventure along the Voie Verte des Hauts de Tardoire, you’ll have the privilege of discovering a multitude of iconic places. 👀

Enjoy a breathtaking view of the majestic Châlus-Chabrol castle and plunge into the 💚 chestnut coppice to admire the beauty of the surrounding forest. 🍃

Cross the picturesque ruisseau des Maisons, explore the charming hamlet of Puy de Lageyrat and contemplate the elegance of Lageyrat church.

Psst…don’t miss the hemp drying shed, a symbol of local heritage, and marvel at the “three bridges” viaduct. ✨

Finally, take time to stroll around the Place de la Fontaine and admire the imposing Châlus-Maulmont castle 🏰

Route information

To rent a bike, visit Espace Loisirs, nestled in the former Châlus train station, open 7 days a week in July and August. (Rentals available from April to October by reservation only).

You can also go to theTourist Office to get your bikes 🚲

📍 The start of the adventure is at the old Châlus train station.

⚠️ The end of the route takes you through the town of Châlus, with sections alternating between roads and “meeting zones”.

We therefore recommend that you leave your bikes at the station and continue on foot 🥾
