The Haviland porcelain factory
Founded in 1842, the Haviland porcelain factory quickly became a household name. From the middle of the 19th century onwards, Limoges porcelain was found on tables the world over: David Haviland set up a porcelain and earthenware import business in New York in 1838.
As a result, Limoges porcelain can be found on the tables of the world’s greatest palaces: Ritz Paris, The Dorchester in London, The Shangri-la Hotel Paris…., presidents : Jacques Chirac, Franklin Roosevelt and crowned heads such as the Prince of Monaco.
