With a surface area of almost 1,000 ha, the Vassivière lake, located at an altitude of 650 m, is the first of 8 dams built on the Maulde. 🐟

Classed as a 2nd category fish lake, it is well stocked with cyprinids (roach, bream) and carnivorous fish (perch, pike-perch, pike). Fishing by boat, float-tube, kayak or canoe is permitted in compliance with navigation regulations. 🚣‍♂️
