Family" courses

If you’re looking for a family day out at the water’s edge, Haute-Vienne boasts five specially-designed, family-friendly courses.

You can go with your eyes closed, as everything has been designed to make life easier for you:

  • Espace Hermeline in Bussière-Galant
  • Etang des Pradelles in Saint-Paul
  • Etang de Nouailhas in La Croisille-sur-Briance
  • Lac de Saint-Hélène in Bujaleuf
  • Lac de Vassivière in Nergout

These certified courses are located on well-maintained and well-informed sites. On site, you’ll find all the information you need to be self-sufficient: signs indicating authorized fishing practices, fish populations present, authorized dates for each species, places to buy a fishing card, etc. Open to all as long as you have a fishing licence.

You’ll be able to easily identify these courses thanks to their pink “Family Course” logos .

And if only part of the family wants to fish, there are other facilities nearby: playgrounds, petanque courts, nearby marked hiking trails, picnic areas, other leisure activities… so you can share good times together as a family, according to everyone’s desires, if not everyone fishes.
