Between Saint Leonard de Noblat, with its picturesque narrow streets, and Lake Vassivière, with its remarkable expanse of water, beaches and water sports, Cheissoux is a small commune on the Creuse border. Set in rolling countryside alternating between meadows and forests, the gîte overlooks the small hamlet of Villetelle, near a farm that breeds fine Limousin cows. The small road that gives access to the gîte leads to another 8-person gîte 30 m away. A footpath leads to the Cheissoux chapel, which opens onto the old village square, or to Bujaleuf, 3 km away, where you'll find essential shops, a lake and a beach.
