Situated on the southern slopes of the Mont Larron forest massif opposite the Saint Julien Le Petit dam, Champety is a typical little hamlet clinging to the hillside and offering a natural environment. The gîte des Hiboux, independent of the family home, is housed in a former bread oven, and features an atypical layout with steps leading from one room to the next. It opens onto a lawn shaded by a superb walnut tree. Ideal for exploring the local hiking trails, one of which leads to Lac de Vassivière. In Saint Julien Le Petit (1.5 km) a very pleasant bistro-restaurant.
