The Prieuré des Bronzeaux is the only remaining Grandmontain monastery in the Limousin region. After being farmed for several centuries and gradually falling into ruin, it was saved by a S.C.I created for the occasion by members of the Groupe d'Etudes et de Recherches sur les Grandmontains (G.E.R.E.G). The site has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1999.
