This former refrigerated pavilion, in the form of a single 400-square-meter hall, was used to store frozen meat from Argentina, widely consumed during the First World War. The reinforced concrete building is covered with sandstone tiles. It was commissioned in 1919 from Roger Gonthier, future architect of the Benedictine railway station, with the aim of breaking the monopoly exercised by the families on rue de la boucherie. Today, the pavilion is used for exhibitions.
