A former porcelain decorator, Paul Buforn learned his trade as an enameller at Fauré, a prestigious firm whose finest vases have been exhibited at the Galerie des Hospices in Limoges. He then began working with enamel, and turned more and more to this art form. In 1975, he opened his own workshop.
