This is the story of its creator, a woman who spent her childhood surrounded by nature.

As tall as 3 apples, lulled by the hum of the tractor, she contemplated these long stretches of land with their many colors and furrows. She remembers the smell of nature waking up, of straw just cut in the middle of summer?
A whole host of memories.

We all have different backgrounds, references, desires and convictions. Each of us is unique.

Maison Marie Gatard is a little bit of everyone I've met over the years, a little bit of everyone who has taught me, protected me and helped me move forward.

As an artisan soap-maker and wax-maker, I love working with plants.

In waxmaking, it has pride of place in two waxes: rapeseed and coconut. It is also used raw, molded in wax.
