




Built in 1825, it was also used as a prison (first floor) and a justice of the peace building, with the guardhouse on the left, the women's cell on the right and the men's cell further back. It underwent radical transformations on the eve of the 14-18 war. The pyramidal, curved-tile roof was raised and covered in slate, with an English gutter and stone cornice. A clock set in a carved stone frame was installed in 1913.
