In place of the former municipal rose garden, the Garden of the Senses comes to life, decked out in its finest finery to delight walkers. A unique olfactory and sensory experience in Limoges. This new space has been designed around the word "sens" in homage to academician François Cheng.
The garden features several areas, including: "les saisons gourmandes" (gourmet seasons), featuring 4 giant seasonal plates with edible plants; "l'arôme des tisanes" (the aroma of herbal teas), with plants used in herbal medicine for their virtues, reminiscent of the taste of herbal teas; and "les familles olfactives" (olfactory families), with 7 characteristic fragrances from the perfume industry: Hesperidia, Floral, Fern, Cypress, Leather, Woody and Oriental, symbolized by various metal decorations.
the trees planted in this intoxicating space are also fragrant trees.
