By an astonishing coincidence, the town hall, inaugurated in 1883, was built on the site of the ancient forum. Architect Charles-Alfred Leclerc drew his inspiration from the Paris town hall. Set on a granite base, the limestone facade blends late-Renaissance and Louis XIII styles.
