A medieval fortress dating from the 12th century, Châlucet is part of the Domaine de Ligoure forest park. Take a stroll through the ruins and admire the impressive facade, as well as remnants of its former grandeur, such as the remains of staircases perched atop vanished towers, and the arches of ancient gates and passageways. In the lower part of Châlucet, climb to the top of the Jeannette tower for a breathtaking panoramic view over the Briance valley. A beautiful walk combining heritage and nature... Château and estate open daily. Explor Games® and Terra Aventura applications available. Guided tours between April and October on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 10.45am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4.15pm and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10.45am, 12.30pm, 3pm and 4.15pm.
