This fountain, created between 1892 and 1893, is a unique example of pink granite, bronze and porcelain. It was designed by Gennuys, deputy director of the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and a friend of the director of the Ecole Nationale in Limoges. The high-fired porcelain and bowl come from the Guérin factory, responsible for the ceramics in the Halles centrales. Four boys embody the different phases of the porcelain industry: draftsman, molder, sculptor and decorative painter.
