Classified as a Historic Monument since 1973, the original 13th-century building was almost entirely rebuilt at the end of the 15th century: the edifice is astonishing for its sober exterior and its interior entirely adorned with murals. In the 15th century, side aisles were added to the nave to facilitate circulation (the only rural church in the area to have them). Restoration work was carried out in 2 phases: from 1996 to 1999, then from 2004 to 2007. The interior restorations were the most impressive, restoring the old pictorial decor. Contemporary stained-glass windows were also created in 2005.
