Housed in former stables in the center of Châlus, the Pays de Châlus eco-museum invites you to discover local history, heritage and traditions. A permanent exhibition features numerous objects reflecting the way of life in the Limousin countryside in the 19th and 20th centuries. A reconstructed living room takes visitors back to a not-so-distant past. Numerous farming and carpentry tools are on display. Immerse yourself in local history and discover the heritage of the Pays de Châlus: castles, churches, rituals and traditions, past events, famous people... The Association's volunteers will tell you all about local history, spiced up with anecdotes.
