Dolmen, or raised stone, is the name given to megalithic funerary monuments from the Neolithic period. Covered with a slab, three supports delimit the burial chamber. This funerary monument is erected at the edge of long-distance itineraries, so it can be seen from the road to the village of La Côte along the Dolmen path. It was classified as a historical monument in 1889. This tomb is probably 4000 years old, dating from the early Bronze Age, between 2000 and 1800 BC. It dates back at least to the end of prehistory, and may even have been used by other civilizations, such as the Gallo-Romans, traces of whom can still be seen around the monument.
