The Croix du Marchand (Merchant's Cross) can be found on the 13 km footpath that practically circles the Commune. This is a granite cross with three-lobed arms and an octagonal shaft. It owes its name to the fact that, in 1612, a caravan of merchants returning from fetching spices from the South of France was attacked by thieves. The leader of the merchants was killed in the attack and buried at the scene of the crime.
