This is a crossroads cross. One side is carved with a Christ in petticoat. It also has a niche for a few relics. This sculpture is quite exceptional in the region, as there are very few representations of Christ in petticoat. It may well evoke the usual garment worn by the crucified in Romanesque times. The historian Jacques Baudoin defined it in his book "Les Croix du Massif Central" as "Croix tréflée avec Christ vêtu d'un long pagne".
