





The Limoges Court of Appeal is one of 36 French appeal courts. As a court of first instance, it hears civil and criminal cases, subject to the jurisdiction of other courts. It also hears appeals against judgments handed down by first-degree Assize Courts. The Court of Appeal is organized into three divisions: - Criminal Division: Criminal Appeals Division, Investigation Division, Penal Enforcement Division. - civil: Civil Division and Family Division. - economic and social: social division.
