The château was built between 1917 and 1925 by Louis Tribolles of Bessines. Nicknamed 'Villa de la Butte', the building belonged to Mario Constant, an amateur painter. The stones were taken locally and cut by a stonemason who stayed in the commune for 14 years, staying at the Hôtel Bastier. A landscape gardener came from Paris to design the garden, with trees of different types and colors. The flowers were created by Faucher d'Ambazac. The roof burned down in 1947 and was rebuilt with a metal framework. Private château, not open to the public.
