The Notre Dame du Rocher chapel stands near the railway viaduct. Before the French Revolution, a chapel called "Notre Dame du Pont", dedicated to the Blessed Virgin and housing her statue, existed on the site near a bridge crossing the Isle river. On his return from exile, the chapel was in a sorry state, so Abbé Maud had the statue placed in a niche at the foot of a large rock, which was named "Notre Dame du Rocher". The chapel of the same name was built on top of the rock in 1877, during construction of the Limoges-Brive railroad via Saint-Yrieix. It has a single nave covered by a barrel vault and ending in a semicircular apse. In the mid-twentieth century, Abbé Brachet enlarged the church and added a wall-belfry over the entrance. A local pilgrimage takes place here every August 15.
