OTRO is a skatable sculpture created by London-based Korean artist Koo Jeong A, featuring various bowls, a cradle and a tunnel, making it a unique and world-renowned skatepark. Skaters are invited to experience the work physically and sensorially by "skating the landscape".
With its sinuous margins inspired by the shores of the lake, the use of a phosphorescent green color covering the concrete, its slow discovery and integration into the island's meadow make OTRO an infinite field of experimentation.
It is a work of art to be "experienced".
Otro was commissioned by the Limousin region in 2009-2012 with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Communication DRAC Limousin as part of the public commission scheme.
