Between wooded hills and deep waters, the Villejoubert dam lake offers an immersive fishing experience in the Limousin region. Located between Saint-Léonard de Noblat and Bujaleuf, it is one of 7 dammed lakes on the Maulde. Bordering the villages of Saint Denis des Murs and Champnétery, the 36-hectare lake unfurls in a natural setting of deep water, ideal for relaxing, and seductive fish. Carnivorous fish reign supreme: pike, zander, perch and, above all, catfish, which can reach impressive sizes. The cyprinids are not to be outdone, with carp, roach, rotengles and bream. Accessible in part from the shore, the lake is best explored by boat or float-tube, with a special launch. Up to 4 rods allowed. Get your lures ready and come and pit your wits against Master Esox and the other predators and whitefish of the Haute-Vienne!
