The Limoges Métropole recycling center is a waste recovery site that handles waste from the 450,000 inhabitants of Haute-Vienne and half of Creuse. Three activities are carried out on the site: glass transfer, composting of green waste and sorting of recyclable waste.
During your visit, you will be welcomed in the conference room, and then take a behind-the-scenes look at the sorting of recyclable waste. The visit will also be an opportunity to discover the fresco by muralist artist Sêma Lao and to question your consumption habits, which generate more or less waste.
Duration: 1h30. Reservations required by telephone.
Ages 7 and up. Flat shoes required. Accessibility for people with reduced mobility possible (tour route adapted).
