In the south of the Haute-Vienne, Limousin, 30 km south of Limoges, we organize 1/ wool spinning courses, on spindle and spinning wheel, as well as wool wet-felting courses, and vegetable dyeing and weaving courses. We discover the whole process from raw fleece to yarn, which can then be woven or knitted.
Spinning course program :
- Sorting and washing of wool fleece.
- Carding with hand cards.
- Spindle and spinning wheel spinning.
Single and two-strand plied yarn.
Felting workshop program: We'll create a felted object and add plant fiber braiding elements
For beginners, or those already passionate about wool. Led by Céline Locqueville, since 2010.
