To celebrate ten years of dancefloor revolution, Soviet Suprem are back on the road with a new EP, which they defend on stage as a festive and committed manifesto. Still led by John Lenin and Sylvester Stalin, the collective returns to its fundamentals: breaking down borders by mixing sounds from all over the world, from Vladiwoodstock to Bogota, and celebrating the unity of humankind through music.
Against a backdrop of shrinking identities and global tensions, Soviet Suprem use dance, irony and cultural cross-fertilization. Their concert-meetings, veritable popular celebrations, blend hip-hop, electro, chanson, acoustic instruments and irresistible calls for collective celebration. An invitation to sing together, to share and to believe in a danceable tomorrow. The dancefloor revolution continues. Long live Soviet Suprem!
