The exhibition "Résister par l'Art et la Culture 1940-1945" (Resistance through Art and Culture 1940-1945), organized by the Association des Amis du Musée de la Résistance de Châteaubriant (Friends of the Châteaubriant Resistance Museum), shows how artists and intellectuals resisted during the Occupation, but also how French people did so clandestinely through culture, in the broadest sense of the term. Everyone took up literature, sang, drew and wrote poems to combat Nazi ideology, including in internment and concentration camps. This exhibition is an opportunity for the Musée de la Résistance de Limoges to present objects and documents held in its reserves.
